Transfer/move Cumulus from computer to another....??

It looks like I'll be moving my station over to a different computer. Is there a section in the wiki that shows how to transfer the station over to a new(old) computer while keeping the data secure? Anybody want to give me an idea of how to go about it?

Thanks,
Ed

There is a search to the Wiki.

There's also an entry in the FAQ (which links to the wiki article).

Thanks for the wiki link and faq mention. After searching and hunting so much for an answer to my recent ftp problems I guess I had completely blanked out my search-fu capabilities.

The Cumulus instructions are pretty much straightforward. I am running Cumulus v1.9.4 B1079 which has ran quiet well. I should still have the install file for that build that I can install on the new computer and then copy over the old computer's Cumulus folder and files on top of. Rather than upgrade to the latest build I think I will do it, as I know it has been working well with the old computer and won't throw any new twists to the road. :)

I'd forgotten about WeatherLink as I only run it a time or two each month. I guess I will attempt something of the same with it. I've got an email in to Davis as I'd found a link to a PDF file for doing just what I'm going to be doing (moving to a new computer) but the link was dead. We'll see what they say.

Thanks again for the help,
Ed
