Cumulus Support

Dear friends
Yesterday i try to correct in dayfile.txt a wind gust of 213 km/h. And since then, i have a lot of errors, when i start Cumulus, like that:

12/8/2013 8:43:50 πμ : Error plotting charts at line 2604 of dayfile.txt: List index out of bounds (0)
12/8/2013 8:43:50 πμ : Please correct the error by editing dayfile.txt
12/8/2013 8:43:50 πμ : Error plotting charts at line 2606 of dayfile.txt: List index out of bounds (0)
12/8/2013 8:43:50 πμ : Please correct the error by editing dayfile.txt
12/8/2013 8:43:50 πμ : Error plotting charts at line 2608 of dayfile.txt: List index out of bounds (0)
12/8/2013 8:43:50 πμ : Please correct the error by editing dayfile.txt

How i can correct that?

Do what the messages are telling you to do.

Stop Cumulus and open dayfile.txt in a good text editor like notepad++. Go to the lines mentioned and correct the errors. They will normally be obvious, e.g. blank lines, or lines with corrupted characters, which just need deleting.

I have done this before but i see that there are blank lines from the begining. In 2010. Shall i delete all of them?

Yes, any blank lines will cause problems.

After i edit the dayfile.txt, i see my datasummary starts from the begining and from the day i edit the txt file. Ypoy can see it here http://www.meteoacharnes.gr/statistika/datasummary.htm.
Do you imagin why?

Whatever you used to edit the file didn't put the correct line endings on the lines. It just put CR on the end, and it should be CRLF. The script presumably relies on the correct endings to split the lines.

Edit -> EOL conversion -> Windows format
