Making a fresh start

Hi.

I have just installed Cumulus, and have started playing around with it.
My idea was to perhaps switch from WD with start Sep 1st.
Since I'm just playing with it for the moment, I'm probably mucking up files everywhere in the system.
What I was wondering about is, when the day comes, what would be the best thing to do to make a fresh start with Cumulus?
Some files I need to delete?
Or perhaps remove everything and make a fresh install?
In such case, what files can I keep from my "test environment"?
What is good practice when doing this?
