Getting data from shut down period

Hi.

Just yesterday evening, I installed Cumulus and had it running for a little while, before shutting everything down for the night.
This morning, I started it up again and I assumed it would download the "old" data from when I shut down.
It doesn't, it just continues logging from where I started it again.
I also get some VERY strange rainfall readings.

What have I done wrong?

I'm running VVP (just for the occation) and WD on one computer, and Cumulus on another.
My idea was to run both in parallel for a while before switching to Cumulus.

Regards

Doesn't seem to have worked. Instructions are in the post linked to near the top of the forum - "Please click here before posting..."

Could you attach a screen shot of the station settings screen, please?

Coming right up...

Just noticed that I have missed the "use data logger" tick box.
Will try that for tomorrow.

I would expect that the Use Data Logger in the Settings should be ticked, it is on mine, to download from data logger after Cumulus has been stopped and then restarted later.

Yes, it's set by default, so you've unticked it at some point for some reason.
