HI everyone, my first post in this forum. Apologies if my question has been answered elsewhere.
I have setup the Cumulus software to enable WOW uploads and have added my site ID and PIN. I have also made some manual observations direct to WOW. But, how do I make Cumulus actually upload to the WOW site? Reading the forums it seems I just need to enable WOW on the Internet settings page but I do not see any indication of data going to the site. How can I tell if data is being sent, or not? If NOT, what do I do to fix it?
WOW site ID is 63931378. http://wow.metoffice.gov.uk/sitehandler ... D=63931378
Cumulus version 1.9.3 on Windows 7. Installed 15/7/2013 at around 1500 GMT.
cheers

It seems to be working OK now, your tabular data is up to date as I type: http://wow.metoffice.gov.uk/tabulardata ... D=63931378

Thanks Steve,
As often the case it was down to a typo in my data for the site.

Re: Automatic upload to WOW UK Met Office
Hi Again,
It's a while since I asked about data transfer to WOW in this thread...but...my weather station blew down last night and now it is back in operation. It is transmitting data to my PC fine and in Cumulus I can see all the data updating, I can even see the display that it is 'Updating WOW' on the status line at the bottom. What I do not see is any new data arriving at the WOW table or graphs and the map symbol for my site is not appearing. WOW is enabled in the Internet section of the software and my site ID and PIN number are confirmed. Is this likely to be a problem with Cumulus in some way, or, is it likely to be a Met Office issue? Do they shut down a site data input when erroneous spikes in data occur, as it did when my station blew away?
Any help welcomed.
Thanks
Derek

Re: Automatic upload to WOW UK Met Office
You had a couple of updates just after you posted, at midnight and 00:02. The best thing to do if there are no updates is to turn on the debug logging in Cumulus, and look at the debug.log file to see if WOW is returning an error message.
