Lost Sensor Contact!

Post by ericwilson54 »

I was receiving the Lost Sensor Contact! error for a couple hours today even though I seemed to have captured all the data throughout that time frame. Is that a real issue or should I ignore it?

Not sure what you mean. I occasionally get that condition but it is typically a one-off and Cumulus continues. However, because of the error handling that I have set, I will get emails every hour ad infinitum unless I clear the condition.

"Lost sensor contact" is signalled by the console when it hasn't heard from the transmitter for a while - six expected transmissions, or around 5 minutes, I believe. You might expect the occasional one, but if it happens a lot, you might want to look at trying to improving reception somehow. You could try realigning the console and transmitter relative to each other. A forum search may throw up a few suggestions.
