Column Names Editing with OpenOffice.org Calc, Excel, Etc.

Post by Buford T. Justice »

Cumulus v1.9.4 (1080)

I am trying to figure out what each column of data represents after importing a log with OpenOffice.org. Here is how I open the files:

1) Go to the Cumulus/data folder and open a .TXT log file by right-clicking once on it then going to OPEN WITH > OPENOFFICE.ORG CALC.

2) The TEXT IMPORT window appears. Everything is unchecked except for SEPARATED BY and COMMA.

3) Click OK.

Now the log data is loaded into OpenOffice.org Calc. For a month log file, the columns used are A-Z. Here are the ones I know so far along with the unknowns (EDIT - now with all values):

A = Date (dd/mm/yy)
B = Time
C = Temperature
D = Humidity
E = Dew Point
F = Wind Speed
G = Recent High Gust
H = Average Wind Bearing
I = Rainfall Rate
J = Rainfall So Far
K = Sea Level Pressure
L = Rainfall Counter
M = Inside Temperature
N = Inside Humidity
O = Current Gust
P = Wind Chill
Q = Heat Index
R = UV Index
S = Solar Radiation
T = Evapotranspiration
U = Annual Evapotranspiration
V = Apparent Temperature
W = Max Solar Radiation
X = Hours of Sunshine
Y = Wind Bearing
Z = RG-11 Rain
AA = Rain Since Midnight

I am not entirely sure what the other ones are, but would like to know.

Here are the column names for dayfile.txt:

A = Date (dd/mm/yy)
B = Highest Wind Gust
C = Bearing of Highest Wind Gust
D = Time of Highest Wind Gust
E = Minimum Temperature
F = Time of Minimum Temperature
G = Maximum Temperature
H = Time of Maximum Temperature
I = Minimum Sea Level Pressure
J = Time of Minimum Pressure
K = Maximum Sea Level Pressure
L = Time of Maximum Pressure
M = Maximum Rainfall Rate
N = Time of Maximum Rainfall Rate
O = Total Rainfall for the Day
P = Average Temperature for the Day
Q = Total Wind Run
R = Highest Average Wind Speed
S = Time of Highest Average Wind Speed
T = Lowest Humidity
U = Time of Lowest Humidity
V = Highest Humidity
W = Time of Highest Humidity
X = Total Evapotranspiration
Y = Total Hours of Sunshine
Z = High Heat Index
AA = Time of High Heat Index
AB = High Apparent Temperature
AC = Time of High Apparent Temperature
AD = Low Apparent Temperature
AE = Time of Low Apparent Temperature
AF = High Hourly Rain
AG = Time of High Hourly Rain
AH = Low Wind Chill
AI = Time of Low Wind Chill
AJ = High Dew Point
AK = Time of High Dew Point
AL = Low Dew Point
AM = Time of Low Dew Point
AN = Dominant Wind Bearing
AO = Heating Degree Days
AP = Cooling Degree Days
AQ = High Solar Radiation
AR = Time of High Solar Radiation
AS = High UV Index
AT = Time of High UV Index
