Min temp goes to 0

Hi,
This is my first post here and I've searched and couldn't find an answer to my problem so I hope it hasn't been asked yet. I own a Vantage Pro 2 and run cumulus on Windows 7. I've noticed that my new record light will flash and its for a new daily temp range. It seems that a couple times a month cumulus records my min temp as 0 even though it's not. The crazy part is that if you look at the all time record page the low temp says 38.9. I see 0 as the min temp in the this months records and I'm guessing it has happened 4 times in June because it says I've had 4 air frosts. Does this make sense? So what would be causing this?

Thanks for the help
Nathan

Please zip up the diags folder and attach it.

You're using console firmware version 3.00, which has known problems; Davis have replaced it with version 3.12. You need to upgrade your firmware, and also install v1.9.4 of Cumulus, as noted at the top of the forum. See the Announcements and News section of the forum for the 1.9.4 download information.

Thank you sir. I was wondering about that but was a little afraid to do it as everything else seemed fine.

There are problems with that firmware version with the console not responding to requests for data for long period, so at best you lose readings, and at worst you get invalid data. While I can't actually see the problem you've reported, I can see the known problem with the firmware. I also noted that on at least one occasion you stopped and/or started Cumulus very close to midnight, and while again this didn't seem to cause a problem (the fact that have a 1-minute logger intervals helps in this respect) it's not recommended.

If you still get the problem after upgrading the firmware and Cumulus, I'll need to see the diags files again as soon as possible after the problem occurs.
