Some data wrong on Cumulus Live

Hello guys, having a great time playing with my new weather station.
I am asking here because I have not had any luck signing up to the Cumulus Live forums.
I have a few pieces of data that do not tie up with the console, along with a few pieces of text being in Dutch instead of English. What did I bugger up
Examples here

Cheers everyone, Kevin.

Out of interest, what is "Cumulus Live"?

It says Cumulus Live Console, honest gov.
As you can see, the moon phase and wind speed are in Dutch.
Wind direction is wrong and indoor temp miles out and a few others are not right.
I am not a programming wiz, I prefer hardware myself.
Edit to add, I saw someone else had settings in the files tab that I do not, should I have paths setup here too ?

ATM you haven't uploaded all the 'support' files for your ordinary pages. (So you have no background, no styles, no gauges, etc. etc.)
See FAQ:
http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#Why_do ... _gauges.3F
Live Console and Dutch would seem to suggest:

I presume you're trying to post for help here
http://www.weerstation-lemmer.nl/forum/ ... ?board=2.0 Perhaps you can send Theo a PM for help on getting on his forum but first you should get your webpage running properly as beteljuice has noted.

The backgrounds, styles gauges etc are all there and working well, its just 2 pieces of text that are wrong and some of the data values are incorrect. I will PM Theo here.
Here are the direct links to the web

and local version

of what I was seeing yesterday.

But this
http://quattrohead.com/ is not the complete Cumulus template but maybe you've got it in another folder/url
I hope you can connect with Theo to get your console working,
Paul

This - presumeably your 'home' page, does NOT have styles, background or gauges !

Edit: crossposted with above

Ah, OK I see what you mean.
I thought the main page was this one
http://quattrohead.com/cumulusframe.php
So what am I missing ?

I hadn't realised that 'the console' now had its own pop-up pages. However the 'now' page links back to your real index.htm, thus you still need the support files to be uploaded from from your cumulus/webfiles directory.
Instructions are in the help file built into Cumulus.

Yes, as per Theo,s installation instructions; Next to do is to make sure that the cumulus software is up and running and that realtime.txt and realtime-extra.txt are uploading to your server! Both files are required for the Cumulus Console!!

OK I am getting there, I had not uploaded any of the files and folders Cumulus itself suggested, only the console files.
I can also confirm I am not generating a realtime-extra.txt file locally and the one uploaded to the site contains the language issues. I manually changed a couple of items just to prove my point.
This is a test site, I will be throwing it up on my real site sometime later when I have this all running properly and fully understand how it works. Also those steel gauges look great, can I have both sets available using the same data ?

To upload the realtime-extra.txt on a regular basis for up to date information link to it in the Cumulus Configuration Internet Files Local filenames section and to realtime-extra.txt in the Remote filenames section, tick Process Realtime and FTP. It looks like you have already ticket the Include Standard Files and Include Standard Images. Possibly your language issue may go away when the required files are being processed and uploaded.

Yes, I am using both on my sites.

I was aware that there was a commercial product that is copying the Cumulus appearance. I wasn't aware until now that it is also using its name. All without a word of discussion with me. I think I've been pretty tolerant so far in not saying anything. I shall probably become somewhat less tolerant if this forum starts being used for support for that product.
Producing an
original work to display Cumulus data, commercial or otherwise, is absolutely fine, of course, and doesn't require any consultation with me. And it helps to make Cumulus more popular. But I would have hoped that before someone started copying the Cumulus main screen and selling it, using the Cumulus name, they would have at least checked with me first. Perhaps the belief is that because Cumulus is free, they can do whatever they want. I disagree, and think that it is at the very least impolite; perhaps that's just me.

Steve the free version is the copy of the Cumulus main screen, the "donation" version has different dials, colours etc., although the layout is the same,
http://www.weerstation-lemmer.nl/forum/index.php, but I agree you should have been asked before he asked for "donations".
