Has anyone tried these redesigned sensors? It looks like the rain gauge would be better protected from spiders. Having the temperature sensor under the rain gauge might keep it from getting hotter than it is and avoid the need for upgrading the radiation shield. Thoughts?

Just installed the ws-2090 to replace a LaCross unit I had for several years before a lighting strike. Sure was an easy install! Install two batteries and point it north. Has good wireless range and the sensors seem to be accurate.
