Cumulus Support

Hello everyone, i am having a lot of trouble with my wind values i am not receiving any updates on wind unless i turn cumulus off and restart it then the wind gauges suddenly work but they then dont update after that and the process must be repeated. All other gauges and figures work well, so i was wondering if theres any solution to the problem im using a jaycar xc-0348

To clarify: Do you mean that the 'Latest' wind figure in the 'Wind' panel on the Cumulus main screen updates (usually every 40 to 50 seconds), but the needle on the gauge at the top right of the Cumulus main screen (just below the clock) doesn't change correspondingly?

Which version and build of Cumulus are you using?

Hi Steve thanks for the response, both the wind panel and needle on the gauge at the top right don't update, when cumulus is refreshed they both work in-sinc and update but they then don't update again unless cumulus is restarted again.

Could you zip up the diags folder and attach it, please?

You've set wind and gust 'spike removal' values of 0.1 m/s. A change of 0.1 m/s is not a 'spike',and in fact it's impossible for consecutive readings to differ by less than 0.1 m/s at all.

Almost all of your spike removal settings are far too low, e.g pressure:

5/06/2013 21:11:17.556 : Pressure difference greater than specified; reading ignored
5/06/2013 21:11:17.556 : Old value = 1009.9 New value = 1009.8 EWpressurediff = 0.1

Again, it's impossible for consecutive readings to differ by less than 0.1.
