Year-To-Date Rainfall Total

Post by ronwright418 »

I recently noticed that other weather stations in the area are reporting about 10" less year-to-date rainfall than mine. Theirs show about 14", mine shows 24.23" today. I summed the daily rainfall totals for this year in Dayfile.txt using EXCEL and got 14.3. How can I correct this error? I'm using Cumulus v1.9.2 (1032). My weather station is a Fine Offset WS1080. Sorry to say that I had not paid enough attention previously to have an idea when this started.

Thanks,
Ron

Could you please zip up the diags folder and attach it, together with your dayfile.txt file.

You've set a year-to-date figure of 9.95" to be added to the recorded total for this year, so that accounts for your inflated total. Wrong year for the YTD figure, perhaps?

Thanks Steve, I did have a hdd failure a couple of months ago. Must have done something wrong on the rebuild.
