Hi all,
I would be grateful if someone could advise how I go about adding the facility to record daily sunshine hrs to my station. Presumably I need a photoelectric cell of some description, (I'm not a programmer).....thank you in advance for your help....
Regards

Hi,
Sorry, there is no "add-on" accessory available for the FO systems. Your easiest and probably cheapest method would be to replace the whole system with a "solar" version (e.g. WH3080/1).
There have been several "wired" projects described in the "Homebuilt" section of the forum, and it happens that I'm developing an accessory for the FO transmitter, which may do exactly what you want, but I'm afraid that progress is extremely slow (it requires a lot of software and I'm not really a dedicated programmer either). Do you need a system with a "wireless" connection?
There is of course the
Blake-Larson Sun Recorder (which was initially developed via this forum) that is compatible with Cumulus, but the price will probably give you a fright.
Cheers, Alan.
