Logging average values

I see in the serial spec. document that the temperature values stored in the logger can be either the average value over the logging period, or the value at the end of the logging period (the default I think). I have looked for this but cannot find the answer... How do you switch between the two modes? Can you set it per value (out & in) or is it global.

Address FFC in the EEPROM - zero = "average", non-zero = "final figure". Same setting for both indoor and outdoor.

Hi Steve, yep, I should have said I see there is an EEPROM setting (which does imply it is global), and I have just found it in the WL help file - a tick box on the Temperature/Humidity calibration dialog box.

I thought about adding the option to Cumulus, but I've never regarded it as very important, as the difference is likely to be negligible (unless large logger intervals are used). It is for me, anyway

You know me, forever tinkering, it was more curiosity than anything else, to be honest I can't be bothered installing WL on my Cumulus computer and changing it to try!

You could just use a terminal emulator - you must have one of those installed already?
