Re: Temperature coding for displaying on my main page
ATM all your weather data is zeros !
There are three ways to achieve what you want:
Make your 'normal' index page a Cumulus template and process it / upload at whatever interval.
(Not recommended)
Use the data in realtime.txt either by:
An ajax call (JavaScript) in your index page
OR
Use .php to create your index page on-the-fly and again parse any required data from the realtime.txt.
Get your 'normal' Cumulus pages working first !!!!

If this is the case I would just follow the instuctions here http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Simple_Website_setup to get the data uploaded to your site automatically by Cumulus. But a novice at html snippet coding
Once you have achieved that you can follow the other instructions in the Wiki on how to "Customise your Templates".

Re: Temperature coding for displaying on my main page
Yes I realise all my data is 0's that will change this weekend when I I set up the station (not arrived yet) so what I am looking for is the html snippet to go on my home page that will show the current temperature.. At the moment the weather staion data is in a separate folder on my server i.e. www.meteor.org.uk/weather what I want to do is retieve the temp data from that folder as a hyperlink from my home page www.meteor.org.uk

Re: Temperature coding for displaying on my main page
With all the jumble of code in your current home page, dropping in another snippet would not do you any favours !
Time to learn how to code, or think about about some kind of (php) template system.

How about uploading to weatherunderground and using a weatherunderground supplied sticker?
Interested in building your own Weather Station? Maybe check out the WeatherDuino Pro Project Here

Re: Temperature coding for displaying on my main page
You will only be able to do this once temperatures are being uploaded from your Console to Cumulus and thence to your web site via ftp using realtime.txt.
Once that is working using the <#temp> tag in a piece of HTML code will display the current data in the realtime.txt every time the page is refreshed.

David .........
realtime.txt has no association with <#webtags>
