Hi
I am interested if anyone has had any experience with using Cumulus with data exported from IQuest Hydeotel software? http://www.iquest.co.nz/
We have two types of Data Loggers from IQuest the QUATECH SSE100 and the Iris 350FX with the data getting downloaded by Hydrotel.
If we know what format that we could export the data from Hydrotel for Cumulus to read we might be able to get the Hydrotel support people to write an export script for us.
Regards
Dion

It's not ideal, but you could generate a file in 'easyweather' format. Jim Easterbroook has the format on his site, here: http://www.jim-easterbrook.me.uk/weather/ew/ and the fields which Cumulus actually uses are shown in a post in this thread: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4344
In addition, Cumulus will now also read an extended format of that file "easyweather plus" which has the light reading (in Lux) and the UV index, in the fields immediately following 'rain last year'.
Cumulus just keeps reading the last line of the file, and looks for the reading date/time to change.

Cheers that is the information I was looking for.
I would prefer we could get the data directly from the weather stations but the Manager wants it from the Hydrotel Software.
We currently have a similar program that we use to view the data but we are bringing all our weather stations into Hydrotel and the staff don't like the old display software.
