I downloaded Cumulus 1.9.3 several days ago on a laptop with Windows 8. From what I read here, I thought there might be a few minor glitches.No problems so far. Connected to the Weather Underground without a hitch. Has anyone had any problems with Windows 8?

The PC I use to develop Cumulus now runs Windows 8; I haven't experienced any issues while testing.

have had cumulus up and running on 2 different lap tops with windows 8 since November last year and so far works fine. there is a listing about windows 8 and might be worth looking at. the one thing that I found is that if you tell it to shut down it does not really switch of totally it goes into a sort of hibernate mode and stores your info in ram. where a restart does switch of totally and then restart.

It also runs fine on 2012 Server.

I switched to new Windows 8 computer in December and all has been fine.
