Webcam 7

Hi guys,
Has anybody had any problems with Webcam 7 recently? Because, I have!
There are 2 problems frequently occuring with Webcam 7, at the moment:
1. FTP keeps cutting out e.g. Turn on FTP at start of day and find it has stopped and turned the webcam image black.
2. Resoloution keeps changing so text overlay becomes out of line and smaller.
Has anybody seen/heard about any of these problems? If so, please can I have some help or tips to stop this from happening?
