Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.

Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024

(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)

Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024

Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

O.S WMR88 & Cumulus

Post by lairgweather »

Apologies if this is in the wrong thread,i posted it and couldnt not move it..
I am thinking of upgrading a site to an O.S WMR88,firstly will these stations work with Cumulus and secondly is there any way Cumulus can recognise and display temperature data from 2 sensors if i add the optional 'pool sensor' as a grass min sensor?
Thanks

Yes, the WMR88 works with Cumulus, and yes, extra sensors are supported (display of current values and logging only).

So just to clarify if i added an extra sensor Cumulus screen will show the 'main' sensor and the additional sensor data, but only the 'main' temp sensor data is logged?

No, the extra sensor is logged, to a separate file - "display of current values and logging only".

It's described in the help under 'Data log file format -> The data log files'.

Thanks Steve,just read through that.
I am adding an extra sensor which is in fact the Pond Sensor <which i have read is supported> to act as a grass min temp sensor.
Is it possible to extract this extra sensor data in a webtags format? as i have my website to update every 10 mins not realtime.
Thanks
