Hi. That is correct - you either opt to use html formatted reports, in which case both the Interface and the default website will display html correctly, OR you revert to simple text based reports, so both systems display plain text. The display is controlled by the option in NOAA settings and is used by both your interface and the public website.

Hi all

Just uploaded a new version of the default public website. This release fixes the charts and records pages not retaining the last data set viewed this session. Visitors are supposed to be able to switch pages and still go back to the last chart / record set viewed without having to select a button.

Other minor changes addressed in the gauges page - you will need to update the library/steelseries/gauges.js file.

Updates can be found at the CumulusMX Wiki and at my Wiki

Neil.

Hi Neil,

I'm really liking your reworked default website.

Could you please add a bar chart for Snow on the chartshistoric.html page similar to historic.htm packaged with CMX.

Thanks,
Dennis

Also, Neil, you have a typo in your Wiki in the Alternate Website > Overview under Installing where you list your main website you have...
I believe you meant...

Hi Dennis

Thanks for the note about the snowfall chart. I also missed the chill hours chart :bash: I am just testing the changes and will update both wikis when done. Thanks also for the info about the typo - it has now been corrected.

Hey Neil,

Another question/request.

Considering template2.html, is it feasible to add css to support a seven column layout?

I want to try to create a seven-day forecast using Ken True's advforecast.php script for the US's NOAA Forecast.

New version uploaded that corrects these issues (and one or two others).

Hi Dennis

I'll look into it. The only reason I haven;t included 7 columns was I felt they woul dbe too narrow to be useful.

Great, thanks Neil,

I think it may turn out well.
https://www.sandpointweather.com/CMX/aw ... recast.php

I don't like how I have placed the two forecasts day-night separated by a horizontal rule in each column. I may have to use tables, so they line up better across the columns.

Also, thanks for adding the additional chart for Chill Hrs & Snow. No hurry but could you change the chart Snow two a two-level bar graph? Same as your CMX production version (historic.htm#snow).

Thanks again,
Dennis
