There may be some short-lived disruption to forum notification emails during the week beginning 10th March 2025. The email server used by the forum is (physically) moving at some point that week which will result in it being unavailable for around an hour.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

Re: Disruption to forum notification emails
Some domains such as a1.net, btinternet.com and mail.com are particularly picky when an email server's IP address changes. It is because an email server's reputation is somewhat tied to things like unchanging IP address and the correct records being present in DNS. So, for the moment, the above domains are currently refusing email from my server. The vast majority are happy to accept it - such as gmail, outlook, yahoo, Hotmail, and many others. It's just a handful who need the server's reputation to build a bit more.
I'm assuming your notification emails go to one of the above domains. If so, and you need to receive forum notification emails, then I would advise signing up for a temporary email address from one of the big free providers.

Re: Disruption to forum notification emails
I saw an update from Mark at 16:24 on a thread I have posted in at 18:20 and had no email. My server is for my domain and goes to Krystal!

Re: Disruption to forum notification emails
@freddie, thanks for the info. Needing to receive an email isn’t critical for me so I’ll stay with the status quo. Having another just complicates things.

@freddie, I have the ability to add trusted addresses to my BT account. What’s the address the notification emails come from please?
