Post by ConligWX »

Hi Ken

Just curious, have you had chance to test Apache 8.4.1 with your Template as yet?

Alas, no. my favorite XAMPP only has PHP 8.2 so far for localhost testing.

I'll see if it's available on my VPS system yet.

PHP 8.4 not yet available on my Plesk VPS .. I did test (successfully) with PHP 8.3.14 at https://saratogawx.net/ site.

Thanks if I get a chance over the next few weeks I'll move my site on to 8.4.1 and see how it plays out.

I have it working, apparently everything is fine, the only thing is the degraded thermomether.php which is a script that doesn't work

What is the URL to your website that shows the thermometer is not working with PHP 8.4.1?

The official thermometer does work, the gradient one is the one that doesn't, in the end I put the original one, I will try to solve that script to make it work in php 8+ www.meteoviso.es

The gradient thermometer was by Bashewa and hasn't been updated in years. I'd recommend sticking with the official thermometer.. it works (and I maintain it).
