Post by Mapantz »

I was wondering how hard it would be to allow CMX/Dashboard to be a installed as a web app?

For what platform, Windows, Android, Apple, Linux? Sounds like a lot of work and maintenance, and I'm pretty sure at least some of them will require signing which means an ongoing cost paying for developer certs etc.

I was only thinking of Windows. I use Netweather's weather radar and have it as a web app, so i can have it open in it's own window on the desktop, rather than a tab in the browser.

I think only doing it for Windows is very short sighted. I only have Android and Linux systems so a Windows only app would be useless. Also since CMX is open source potentially puts extra expense on the developer which is unreasonable.

That's why it was just a question of how hard it would be, nothing more than an inquiry.
