Davis Support - AAA

Post by PaulMy »

I had an issue with both my WiFiLogger and Weatherlink Live yesterday afternoon. Both failed to upload to Weatherlink.com, and couldn't connect to CumulusMX.

Miraculously, after a sleepless night, the WiFiLogger was running this morning so reconnected by itself and one instance of CMX back online. But WLL was not connecting. I called Davis Support (fortunately we are in North America and calling California is not hard) and was 3rd in the queue. A voice message kept me informed where I was in the queue, until i was next - about 15 minutes. The support person was kind, seemed knowledgeable, gave instructions what to do with the Weatherlink App to check internet, and very patient with me. Finally after about 15 minutes he could see that the WLL was uploading to WL.com and that we resolved the issue and all is good - A OK!

Enjoy,
Paul

Nice to hear a positive report. On forums you tend to just hear the negative things - naturally, most people don't report things working as they should.
