Re: Lightning Strikes
It is very easy to do it yourself. Just use the three webtags #LightningStrikesToday, #LightningDistance and #LightningTime format="hh:mmtt 'on' dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy". The last one formats the date so you get this
Lightning Strikes Today 0
Distance of last strike 21.1 miles Time of last strike 02:58AM on Sunday, September 08, 2024

Re: Lightning Strikes
Can I combine those Ecowitt / Froggit sensors to my existing Davis WLL? In other words, is it possible to receive data from Davis AND other systems?

Re: Lightning Strikes
Any input to this one by The Dalek Hunter himself? Would be much appreciated, because we both use MacOS and Davis equipement. Thanks in advance!

Re: Lightning Strikes
Yes you can. You configure the Ecowitt under Extra Sensors. Cumulus then listens for data sent by the Ecowitt station, the send is configured under the stations Custom Server setting.

Re: Lightning Strikes
Great explanation - thanks a lot, Mark!
CMX gets more powerful every day I dive deeper into it. Wow.

Re: Lightning Strikes
I have three stations
https://longsuttonweather.co.uk. - Davis
https://www.longsutton-weather.co.uk - Ecowitt
https://wx-watch.co.uk/cmxt - Tempest
However the way I combine the data so I can see Lightning strikes is to use PWS Dashboard
