CutilsCharts.def Notepad++ User Defined Language (color scheme)

Post by nossis »

As I have been playing around with the CutilsCharts.def file a bit. Decided to make a Notepad++ language file (UDL)
Makes life a bit easier to identify keywords and the like.
By all means use, modify and make better :D

How to use:
Download, extract
In Notepad++ go to Language, User Defined Language, Define your language. Import and point to the extracted XML file.
When you open the CutilsCharts.def with Notepad++ it will automatically apply the colour scheme.

I found it useful, hope it can be for others.
Enjoy.

EDIT: incorporated Hans changes in the download as per his below post and re attached to this one. Thanks Hans

Hi Barry,

Thanks, that indeed is very nice. I added it to the distribution so it will be available with the next release (if they did not download from here already). I modified two things:
  1. Ignore capitals (a tick right to the import/export buttons). That seems an improvement if you mix capitals and Pascal (or Upper Camel) case.
  2. Force comment to the beginning of the line
I exported this to the name CDL Notebook Plus UDL.xml in the distribution directory.
Easy to change the colours to ones liking.

Thanks again, nice work!

Cheers,
Hans
