Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.
Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024
(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)
Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024
Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Minimum/Maximum Display of Pressure Gauge
On the"Pressure" gauge I see two red-tinted 'wings' that I believe are intended to show minimum and maximum experienced atmospheric pressure. On my gauge they go from 29.710 downward and from 29.770 upward (I just installed build 4220 yesterday, so I believe the gauge reset its minimum and maximum). Is there anyway I can disable these 'wings' without being a coding guru? Thanks in advance!

It means MX does not have any of your historic data, did you migrate it from v3?jh1013@aol.com wrote: ↑Thu 16 May 2024 3:08 pm so I believe the gauge reset its minimum and maximum).

Re: Minimum/Maximum Display of Pressure Gauge
Ok, they will fairly quickly push back as you record a range of pressures, so if you can put up with them for while they will soon look less intrusive.
If not then you would have to edit the gauges.js file and remove them from the pressure gauge.

Re: Minimum/Maximum Display of Pressure Gauge
I took a look at the gauges.js file and see two lines:
params.minValue = cache.minValue;
params.maxValue = cache.maxValue;
that I suspect are the players, but I'm a bit hesitant to do anything to them unless the change would be fairly simple (I am a true neophite).

Thanks Mark - Do I do that with the 'edit' feature? When I do that, I don't see any line numbering; where woud I find that?

Re: Minimum/Maximum Display of Pressure Gauge
Edit the file using a decent text editor eg Notepad++, any deviant editor will normally show the line numbers.
Even the old Windows Notepad, though it did not show line numbers had a Goto Line option.

Thanks Mark, that did it, even with an amateur driving!
