B4018 fails to get data from Ecowitt with Type 14 station

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

B4018 fails to get data from Ecowitt with Type 14 station

Post by broadstairs »

I have installed B4018 on both my CMX instances. The one which is using the local API started fine and is running fine. However the one which is using the Custom Server as input failed to download missing data from Ecowitt, the application and api keys exist in the .ini file but no mac address, once I manually added the EcowittMacAddress and restarted it picked up the missing data just fine. There does not seem to be an option to add the mac address in settings when using the Custom Sever option.

Good spot, it is only displayed if you "change" the station type, opening the settings with the station already set does not display the field.

The attached js script should fix that.
