FTP not working

I installed a new Cumulus for a new station (I have several installed), and ftp don't work automaticaly. If I press manual, works fine and upload all files. In the Cumulus.ini I have this in FTP section:

Can someone help with this? Something is worng? I tried 3 times with different instalations, and not works.

It would be helpful if you switched FTP logging on (program Settings > Logging Options > FTp Logging for 15 minutes and then posted the file here.

2 things of notice. 1) you are using standard FTP, are you sure that this is allowed on your hosting server. 2) You have have no server Directory defined so the files will be uploaded to the root of your site rather than say htdocs/ or public_html/

A FTP log will help to figure this out.

And which version of CMX are you using? Regarding FTP it is always useful to use the last version (if you experience issues) because the libraries may have been updated.

Good catch, I didn’t think about it being there since he was talking about ftp.

However, thinking more around this, if manual uploads are working but scheduled ones are not, could this be just a setting issue?

Vicente, have you checked that you have selected necessary files to be uploaded in Settings - Internet Settings - Interval Configuration - Normal Interval - Standard files and Graph files?

once you have finished, start CumulusMX again, and then disable the logging options that you enabled.

your ftp settings mean nothing unless we can see the logs.

Sorry for the delay in answering, I have done some more tests to try to understand what is happening. I have other Cumulus running without problems. And the strangest thing is that if I manually upload via FTP, it does so without a problem. It's as if the automation doesn't work.

I installed Cumulus (latest version), on a new computer, with the same result.

Could you tell me the name of the files I have to send?

I have been able to do some more checks; I'll tell you a summary:

I have installed a new Cumulus MX, and I have a problem with it; I use an extra file (extra web files) to upload a template avery 5 minutes, and neither that file nor any of the others that CMX usually uploads, upload via ftp. If I use the Utils-Upload/copy now menu, it uploads it perfectly, so I understand that everything is configured correctly, but only work manually.

The type of station I have configured is HTTP Ecowitt.

After thinking about it a lot, installing several versions (some of them I have working now with other stations), even copying one that works for me and putting the type of station I have, it still doesn't work, so I understand that it is the type of station.

If I have to activate the log files, please tell me which files I have to upload to the forum.

And do that for the Cumulus that is working fine to upload with FTP, and for the one that is not.

First, there is a more recent version released - b3283
In a quick look I don't see any glaring issue on FTP upload. However, there seems to be a number of things... while these are not likely the cause of your issue, it is good to resolve these anyway.
In both installs moon image FTP error - file not found

The b3282 MXdiags marked as working
Duplicates in dayfile. FTP indicates OK.

The b3278 MXdiags marked as not working
Error. missing data
The FTF log has only one line
