FTP Upload error not emailed

I stumbled across the fact the files hadn't been FTPing for a couple of hours this morning and restarted my VPS and Cumulus and its fine now, however I wasn;t alerted to this via email even though I have "Web upload errors" alarm turned on ?

Can you zip and attach the log file please

Unfortunately I don't have the logfile anymore, but it was something to do with root certificates or similar - nothing in Cumulus, but I would of expected that

error would trigger the FTP warning email?

OK, without the log file it is difficult to say why you didn't get the email. Possibly the internet was down at the time of first failure so the email send failed?

The alarm is triggered when the reconnection process starts.

It looks like something has gone wrong with the reconnection process in your instance, it looks like two processes are running together and interfering with each other and cancelling each other's connections. (I may have said it before, I loath the FTP processes. I really need to sit down reorganise how they work).
