New Firmware for GW1100 and GW2000

There is new f/w for both these gateways. Fixes a memory leak and other things. Probably important to install these soonest. I have on both mine and things are stable.

Yes: 2.2.9 2.3.0 is it now. Maybe update automatically though that would have given you 2.2.8 also automatically which you don't want

Yes although I do not allow automatic update as I prefer to watch it and make sure it happens properly.

I cnt seem to get this gateway gw2000 to work with cmx as soon as I turn on enable custom upload and select cumx details the thing just crashes every 24 hours?

I assume you mean Customised Weather service on the GW2000, why use that? My CMX works perfectly with my GW2000 using the local API it also sends data Via the Customised upload to another program. Yes I've had a couple of freezes but I suspect that was the memory leak (now fixed). This f/w should fix a memory leak and crashes btw.

Where the steps to set that part up ?

And yes I've upgraded to the latest firmware but it was still crashing on the me

Ahh I've got different set up as u I'm running davis Wll as my main station and the ecowitt as extra sensors so I think that doesn't apply?

OK didn't notice that.... I don't know why your GW2000 crashes just because you set up a Custom server, should not happen. As I said my GW2000 does use the Custom server but not to communicate with CMX (uses the local API) but another program (FOSHKplugin) running on the same (Linux) PC and it does not crash.

Just checked the firmware for my GW1100C and it is at 2.3.0 ? and all seam OK
