Version 6.23.1 is online

This is a maintenance release.

1. Graphs: When creating the solar energy chart, the solar energy per day can be requested and will be written out to DailySolarEnergy.csv. The parameter involved is [General] NeedSolarEnergyDailyValuesInCSV=false (default)
2. Language: Parameters LimitValues, Winter1, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter2 have been added to the language file to be translated.
3. Charts: All axis involving Temperature will now - when using Fahrenheit scale - have a soft minimum of 32 F-degrees i.s.o. 0 (questionable )
4. General: It is now possible to run CUtils from day one i.e. after having at least one rollover i.e. the dayfile has at least one record.
5. ExtraSensors: Fixed a unreported issue with the lightning sensor
6. Graphs: Fixed a minor issue with the normal and station reference lines in the Daily Rain chart
7. SystemInfo: With the WLL device you now get a message if the Tx parameter is not filled in

1. ExtraSensors: Fixed. The Lightning and CO2 sensors were incorrectly handled when both present
2. SysInfo: If the parameter Tx (for WLL) is not filled in, the resulting SysInfo page will show an error: "A value for the Transmitter used is needed - please set parameter Tx"

• General: The limit of data only after 27 Januari 2004 (start of Cumulus) has been lifted (under the condition that the logfile records have the length of todays records). CUtils can now read whatever number of years (current record is 1 Januari 1979)

Additional Note:
This will likely be the last release for the mono environment. Due to a lack of time on my side for the coming period and developments on the CMX-side i put CUtils on hold for the moment, development to be continued when time is more abundant and the CMX environment is stable again.

The break seems to come at a natural moment because CUtils is of course dependent on [the environment of] CMX.
In principle I will be online during that period with some breaks.
You'll find out the on/offs but given the stability of CUtils I don't think there will be a problem.

Good moment to think over the most recent suggestions.

Short after the previous "Last" release a next "Last" release as it was found that the FTP's did not work anymore.
So this release has all libraries upgraded to the the most recent releases. Note that some new libraries have been added as a result of that.

This is a non-optimized version of CUtils to avoid some issues with CustomLogs and the Thermal Seasons graph (and maybe other issues).
No functional changes (hence no Release Notes)

Notes:

1. Home charts: Fixed show of first chart for the fallback charts (the original / old CMX charts i.e. when no CutilsCharts.def is present)
2. Highcharts version: If the user does not specify the Highcharts version it now defaults to 11.2 (the last working version)
3. CUlib: cumulusutils.js can now be generated independently as a module. It has its own wiki page explaining the functions users can access at runtime
4. Supporting libraries: libs for FluentFTP and ServiceStack.Text have been upped to the latest version as of 19 june 2024.
5. Rain Graphs: Fix: a year needs to have 350 valid registered days (was 364) to have a valid rain Station Average reference line.
6. Highcharts: Modified the license statement in the website and in the LICENSE file

1. Maps: CUtils version is now indicated in the position information on the map (only valid when you run 4.1.1 and up)

This, kind of superfluous, release gives me the possibility also to mention I will be out for quite some time (I think to be back second half of Aug).
I may read by phone but otherwise hope you have great weather

Larger work on CUtils will have to wait until the bad weather steps in again

The following will probably be part of a future 7.2:

1. Implementation of the Diary content report (snow depths) and frost and ice days reports
2. A chart on minimum temperatures per year analogue to the warmer days chart with 1) nr of days all max temp < 0; 2) nr of days min temp only below zero; 3) nr of days min temp < 20 (still thinking, after an idea by @meteosangonera)
3. A rewrite of monthly logfiles reading: for some reports / graphs, the monthly log data are required. Reading those for long time series on slower computers (think of RPi3 and slower) requires optimisation: reports for months past do not change so those data can be cached and only the current month needs to be read. This will be a major speed up for CUtils and independent of the length of the dataseries.
