Continuing from the WorldExtremes forum...

Wow... excellent on the Map. I've thought and actually had drafted something many months ago on a Cumulus Users list but just not capable of doing that like you have. Yours is excellent hopefully it can lead to a forum list/map.

I've added KomokaWeather.com with CU1 as that feeds that page, but must have erred in the URL as it shows an error due to https which I don/t have and s/b http://komokaweather.com Can't see how to edit it.
Also added komokaweather.com/cumulusmxwll as using CMX (also http://) but maybe only 1 is permitted.

Hi Paul,
Oh thank you, glad you like it and it worked.
1 : Yeah because it uses MySql DB do not want users modifying stuff, so I have corrected the http/s issue.
2 : Yes sadly sorry becomes hard adding more than one. (will need to think how I get around that)!
3 : on that what I did was created a Landing Page which has info and links about all my different templates if you like.

Oops look like Mikes site is added though the url has typo (I'll fix) and need a correct Lat/Lon as he's off up in the North Pacific around Guam somewhere.
If it can be sent to me I'll fix.

That's fine Paul,
His CumulusMX must be set up with wrong Lat/Lon.
I'm off out in about 30mins , will fix when I get back if you don't get it to me before then.

I think I fixed it, the 17.260000 should have been -17.260000.
See map, well hopefully that is his approximate location.
Seems about right.

Tony, have added my site although it is one house out!! Could you remove Gurney Slade Weather as that was my old site at the house we moved out of in 2016 (I kept the site and pages for reference).

Like the map, very good.

removed old site matey, do you want Lan/Lon adjusted (you said one house out) it does not really matter some prefer that, personally I prefer mine correct. Personal Choice thing.
If you want it changed, just message me with Lat/Lon you want.

Interesting, another map attempt. My thoughts on a Cumulus user map for what it is worth: seen all the attempts which have been made so far (and my own experience on creating a subset of the map): if there is no automated support for the use of CumulusMX any attempt for a userlist and/or map will have eventual failure in it. And even automated support will not be full proof as some people will sabotage the system and any non-compulsory data will not be supplied. So a map on voluntary contribution is nice but needs continuous attention - checks and corrections - and advertising for success.

So what do you want to achieve? What is the map supposed to display? What completeness is wanted? Is completeness a goal?
