Hi Hans

That was a good spot, yes when I set up my station I set the minimum pressure at 965hPa since I had never seen it that low before. Now changed to 925hPa :bash:

0.9 in of rain since midnight, very wet back garden that is not draining very well!!

Similarly in Jersey 25.8mm since midnight and a very soggy garden,also somewhat cooler than of late at 9.8 C.

For those of you who are interested the following link is to a video of the damage caused by a category 6 tornado which struck Jersey during Storm Ciaran

It is interesting to see the extent of the damage to property and trees from the air via drone footage. A large number of mature trees were either extensively damaged or felled by the tornado. The damage to property in the direct line of fire was extensive. Fortunately I was only aware of a localised thunder storm passing a mile or so away from me.

Thanks for sharing. Lots of areas with tree tops broken. A bit of a mess at the RFV storage (10:30)
