Humidity zero

Post by Mapantz »

I've just finished putting back my anemometer transmitter outside.

As I had the cable disconnected for a short period, the WLL doesn't send some packet data unless you power cycle the WLL. I closed CMX, then disconnected the power from the WLL, and removed the batteries for 10 seconds, then put them back in and connected the power. I waited for 2 or 3 minutes before opening CMX. I had the dashboard opened and saw the humidity drop to 0.

It's likely that humidity was missing from a data packet - that would cause MX to use 0.

N.B: you can put images inline in a forum topic reply. I find imgbb a bit flakey - I couldn't access the image you linked to in your post.

I think it more like it sends zero; if the data were missing it would flat line at the last value until a new value was received.

I don't suppose you had debug logging enabled at the time?

A spike setting would have prevented it.

The image in imgbb took ages to load for me, though it did eventually.

I didn't have any logging on I'm afraid.

It registered in the realtime data going to the SQL table, but thankfully, CMX didn't register it as a 'low' figure, or the dew point either. ;)

And those values would be expected on transmitter #1?
