Ecowitt sensor reception tracking

Post by broadstairs »

Recently there have been some issues where sensor reception has been an issue especially with the GW2000. I know it is possible to obtain the sensor reception status as a number between 1(I think maybe 0?) and 4 as part of the battery information sent by the gateways. I am wondering how easily this could be added as a web tag which then users with this issue could add a custom log file to track. Each web tag would need to identify the sensor as part of its name and would simply be the value returned at that time by the gateway.

Individual tags for each sensor sounds complex. How about a comma separated list of sensor=value pairs like the Davis battery status instead?

Mark whatever is easiest as long as it's clear what is what that's fine.
