Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.
Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024
(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)
Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024
Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

What's happened to "Mono"?
Last Friday (6-16/23) while troubleshooting an issue about CMX 3245 I was trying to install the latest version of Mono from the "Mono-project" site where there used to be link specific to Raspian there no longer is anything for linux except 'Ubuntu'. Current link https://www.mono-project.com/download/s ... wnload-lin
Just wondering what others are seeing and if so what am I missing.

Re: What's happened to "Mono"?
Update on Mono, nothing official. Looking around the Mono-project website especially the resource folders Raspian Bullseye seems to have disappeared.
Then today Jeff Geerling posted a rant about "RedHat" pulling Centos, essentially pulling the rug out from "open source" software. I might say that we all know what IBM did when they bought "WunderGround" weather, the had to monetize the acquisition and it would seem that they are doing the same thing with RedHat.
Anyone understand any of this enough to make a brief post?

Re: What's happened to "Mono"?
Redhat has been making many changes over the years and I thought they stopped centos a few years ago or something, I thinks its all about the money for them. Now the different distros do maintain their version of mono in their repositories, may not be the latest version but at least they should be stable, and unless some sweeping change is made to CMX one would not need the latest version. The best part is Mark uses raspi so whatever he does in changes he will make sure it works.
A look at the github page i see they are having some build problems with debian so maybe this is why they have no link to build,

Not sure what RHEL has to do with mono and Raspbian OS, Debian or Ubuntu (the distro's mainly used here). And besides, mono I think is maintained by Microsoft.

Re: What's happened to "Mono"?
Thanks all. It's beginning to make a little more sense.
Just checked the 'Mono-project' website and the link for Debian and Raspian has returned. However, if I read it correctly still no 64 bit Bullseye support.

Re: What's happened to "Mono"?
On the github page there still seems to be some problems with debian (attached). It also seems that they indeed pushed out a new release (6.12.0.199).
Edit. I think I have misunderstood what the github front page’s compile status means, so attachment removed.

Re: What's happened to "Mono"?
Yes it's back but it's not possible to 'upgrade' to later 64bit version than that in the raspian bullseye repository
