Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.

Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024

(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)

Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024

Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Web tag error with davis wll

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Yes. Confusing but now I got it :?

Doesn't the statistics require a paid subscription before getting values?
I remember vaguely...

Well that is very strange :bash: I don't know how that's working on yours?

I haven't looked at my stats for a while (CMX has been running almost 22 days) however, I have kept an eye on them over the last few hours.

RSSI, percentage of good packets, and streak of good packets has not changed once in two hours. Only the multicast packet total has changed. The RSSI values are not matching the ones on the WeatherLink dashboard.

Restarted CMX and saw this:

Code: Select all

2023-05-31 22:17:35.060 GetWlHistoricData: Invalid historic message received
2023-05-31 22:17:35.060 GetWlHistoricData: Received: {"station_id_uuid":"26e50724-863c-4181-91af-29b79e2dc3bf","sensors":[{"lsid":483991,"data":[],"sensor_type":243,"data_structure_type":13},{"lsid":351141,"data":[],"sensor_type":323,"data_structure_type":17},{"lsid":483990,"data":[],"sensor_type":242,"data_structure_type":13},{"lsid":351140,"data":[],"sensor_type":506,"data_structure_type":18},{"lsid":483989,"data":[],"sensor_type":504,"data_structure_type":15},{"lsid":484004,"data":[],"sensor_type":56,"data_structure_type":13},{"lsid":484003,"data":[],"sensor_type":43,"data_structure_type":11},{"lsid":484002,"data":[],"sensor_type":43,"data_structure_type":11}],"generated_at":1685567855,"station_id":128719}
I can confirm, I am getting zero stats since restarting: https://warehamwx.co.uk/system.php

The stats update every 15 minutes for the WLL, and the counts apply to the previous 15 minute interval.

@mapantz the data blocks in the message returned from wl.com are empty. Looks like it may be an issue at their end for your station.

It looks like a problem for multiple people - a problem with the weatherlink API?!

Yes, Davis have made a change to the v2 API :(
It prevents MX doing historic catch-up as well, I'll need to push a quick fix out for this tomorrow on 1st June

A new patch of Cumulus MX is available that fixes this issue for Davis WLL & AirLink devices. It also fixes historic catch-up for those devices which was also broken by the Davis change.

Hi Mark,
v3.25.2-b3245 installed and all seems ok on my CMX WLL install.

Wiki shows:
Latest build distribution download
~ Download Cumulus MX v3.25.2 build 3244, 01-June-2023

and I can't edit it to say b3245

Enjoy,
Paul

One slight issue for me; The average wind speed spiked when I restarted. It went from 6mph to 13mph and back to 7mph, CMX has logged that as the highest average speed today.

It did it yesterday as well.
