the big graphic in cumulus1 is wrong

Post by wetterfrosch1971 »

Hi,
For some time now, the large graphic has been displayed incorrectly and I don't know why, I haven't changed anything, i.e. it has always worked before and now all of a sudden it has been wrong.
You can also see that the German heading is simply on top of the English one, which wasn't the case before either. previously the English was exchanged for the German.
the problem only exists with the large picture, the small pictures are arranged and displayed correctly.
As I said, everything was fine until recently and all of a sudden it looks like this without me having changed anything.
whats going on here?
look:

Thanks for help.
Frank

I don't understand what the problem is. Could you describe it, please? The graph looks fine to me - both the screenshot and the live graphs on your web site.

Grrr, must remember to check if any new post before Submit :bash:

Hi Frank,
Is the temp and dew point data wrong? Or is it the header formatting?
You are using a modified trends.htm template page and using the German language but otherwise it looks fine compared to my Cumulus 1.

Enjoy,
Paul

Sorry, I may have expressed myself somewhat misleadingly.
I don't mean the graph itself, it's about the box itself, the box goes to far to the right side, the box is not in the middle.
the box used to be as big/wide as the graphic boxes above and below.
and the German heading is on top of the English instead of replacing the English, you can still see the English is underneath.
none of this was like that before, but i didn't change anything, maybe a problem with the css file?
now you understand me?

I’m running Cumulus1. Have a look at my graph. Looking at it on an iPad in horizontal mode the large graph is aligned to the left and slightly indented on the right.

It probably depends on what you use to view your site. Regarding the language problem I can’t help, sorry.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

your graphic is just as big as the graphic below it, that was the case for me before, but not anymore and I don't know why.
that is my problem.
what strikes me right now is that your timeline is in 6-hour intervals, but mine is in 1-hour intervals, I mean I used to have a 6-hour interval, can I set that somewhere in cumulus? maybe that's the problem?

I found out the problem with the wrong size, in the internet settings of cumulus the check mark for web graphs "resize (width 750/high 300)" was missing.

now the only question that remains is how can i change the time line from 1h interval in a other interval?
i just noticed that the barometric pressure graphic has a time line of 2 hours, but all other graphics have a time line of 1 hour.
I mean, in the past, all of my graphics had a time line at 3-hour intervals.
with a 1h timeline the labeling becomes too confusing, i would prefer a 3h or 6h labeling.

You can choose the timeline for the graph in the settings. I selected 48 hours so the sub-division is calculated automatically. Ensure you have the desired time period saved. Just go into the settings and change to 24 or 72 and choose OK. Then change it back to your preferred time period.

Ray, Cheshire.

the time line is only broken down more roughly for the air pressure, for all other graphics it always goes back to the 1 hour interval and makes the whole thing a bit confusing in my opinion.
as with the air pressure, i find the division of the time line better.
my preferred interval is 24 hours.
