I am trying to achieve my website displaying the actual wind speed and gust speed and highest gust today as exactly reported by my Ecowitt WS80 and am somewhat confused by the descriptions on the web tags. I need to know which tags will display this information as presented by my station. Can someone please point me in the correct direction?

wlatest will reflect "Wind Speed" on the app.
wgust will be the highest "Wind Gust" on the app in the last 10 minutes.
The "Wind Gust" value on the app is not available.

Re: Advice needed on web tags for wind.
Thanks Mark, I am puzzled as to why that has to be the highest in 10 minutes? What is wrong with having both? My logic in seeing the current gust is some idea of how the weather (wind) is behaving. Wind here on the coast is important especially if one is doing any kind of water sport.

Re: Advice needed on web tags for wind.
Ecowitt do some odd things with their data presentation.
The Meteo "norm" for wind gust is a 10 minute value which is what CMX uses by default.
What you see on the Ecowitt App when using a WS80 (it is different for non-ultrasonics - another quirk!, and different again if you use the Ecowitt HTTP protocol - yet another quirk!) is...
"Wind Speed" shows the average speed over the last sample period (4.75 seconds for the WS80)
"Wind Gust" shows the highest gust in the last 30 seconds
So the average speed on the app can drop to zero because there is currently no wind, but the gust lags behind and stays at a high value. This is exactly what CMX shows, but CMX uses the recognised standard 10 minute gust value rather than a 30 second value.
EDIT: CMX does not have tags for gust value in the last xx seconds.
