Highs and Lows - Monthly

Post by Paul C »

Hi

I am relatively new to MX after years with Cumulus 1.

One thing I am missing is Monthly Reports, which I need for various bits and bobs and to look back at passed events

There is the Highs and Lows section which is fine, but only "This Month" is recorded, if I now wanted to check back for March 2022, there isnt anything to look at.

Would it be possible to add in previous months please

Thanks

MX does not provide a screen within the interface to show that, but look in your "data" folder, MX saved the old "month.ini" file as month202203.ini (assuming you were running MX when March ended). You can look up each extreme in that file, it might not look pretty, but the figures are there!

Up to developers, to decide if they believe there is a justification/priority to add "Cumulus 1" this period style screens to MX.

Saving the file is documented in an old Steve Loft MX announcement post , but also of course in Wiki.

Thanks - I will have a look.

Certainly for me it would be very handy to look back at previous months at a glance. lets hope the developers are looking and decide in my favour :D
