Deleting a Month of Data

Post by caerhays »

Hi all,

I had a problem with my Watson W-8681 station losing data connection which is now resolved (short circuits on the circuit board). I now have everything working properly again but the data for a period of two months is incomplete and there are also many spurious readings. I would like to delete the entire two months but can't find a way to do it other than one line at a time. Is there any way of deleting multiple lines of data simultaneously ?.

Regards, Phil

Phil, you have to stop Cumulus, edit the month text files, and the dayfile.txt in a decent editor (please do not use notepad), then restart Cumulus. After that you may have some records to clean-up!

I recall NotePad++ being good and used by many. I've always used it with no problems.
