Average speed needle for wind speed gauge

Post by freddie »

Just a personal preference - could we please have a needle to mark the 10-min average wind speed on the wind speed gauge, same as is done on the direction gauge?

Sorry, that would be really hard to do - the underlying SS gauge code only supports a single pointer, that's why I reverted to using the green/red sectors to denote the average and gust speeds.
I created a updated version of wind direction gauge to support two pointers in the base library, but it is a lot of work.

Okay thanks Mark. I'll have a look at the changes in the direction gauge, and might give it a try.
