I have checked https://www.ncifleetwood.co.uk/weather/index.htm and confirmed that you are using build 1099, so the answer here is based on that.

Although that 1099 final version of Cumulus 1 does not have drop downs for years after 2020, you can manually enter later years. So the Cumulus 1 you are using will keep working for as long as you have a working pc. Your NOAA reports will work without any action by you, but selecting which one you want to see will mean you will need to enter year manually for any future year.

But read the pink area with text on this (and every other forum page) where Freddie (who administers the forum) has placed a note about patch for what he calls the legacy release (Cumulus 1).
The patch adds another 10 years to all the drop-down selectors, making selection of future years easier. It is actually the second patch Mark wrote (1099.2), as the first one only did some drop-downs, but the replacement patch changes all drop downs.

Installing the patch requires you to replace just one file, the Cumulus.exe file you are currently using, is replaced with the equivalent file that Mark has patched.
Download the patch from either https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Downloads or https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Software.
The latter (Software) was created as a new extra page for MX, so offers downloads for everything, the former (Downloads) is the purely Cumulus 1 downloads page and might be easier for you as it covers all Cumulus 1 issues there.
