I think I will save this version somewhere, we will never know! ;) :lol:
1) that's fortunate, I am happy :D
2) Agree :mrgreen:

I'll start adding functionality now, I'm a bit fed up with the website thing.
Although I like the product more than I thought. It really is new and has evolutionary openings.
Though not with PHP, sorry ;)

I'll wait until thursday or friday (the end of week), if everything goes well, I take it out of beta.

Great idea. The Ajax call names the location parameter URL. So, it might ... :idea: :o

In my php site i have realtimegauges.txt generated from a sql call (in gauges.js : realTimeUrlCumulus : '/sql/SteelgaugesSql.php',)
Is it possible at some point to have a separate 'url' for realtime, realtimegauges and json files ? :oops: I ask a little much maybe :roll:
I know you don't want PHP !! :lol:

It's not clear what happens !
the realtimegauges.txt:
/ 20200414213925
// http://laurentmey.fr/davis/realtimegauges.txt

{
"date": "21:38",
"temp": "7.5",
"tempTL": "2.3",
"tempTH": "13.6",
"intemp": "20.4",
"dew": "-2.3",
"dewpointTL": "-2.9",
"dewpointTH": "2.6",
"apptemp": "4.0",
"apptempTL": "-2.0",
"apptempTH": "9.3",
"wchill": "6.5",
"wchillTL": "-0.6",
"heatindex": "7.5",
"heatindexTH": "13.6",
values are not the same as those used by the cumuluutils's gauges!

suite..
I had an old realtimegauges.txt file in the utils directory of the website. now that it is deleted the gauges can no longer find the file, it being at the same level as realtime.txt. !
I'll try with a full URL!

The problem occurs after i use 'dashboard toggle ' from menu: the gauges don't update after that !

Continuation of my investigations:
with a complete URL or a relative path, the behavior is the same: no more updates after using 'toggle dashboard' button.
I think that the path to realtimegauges.txt is lost after that (ToggleDashboard ()).
By coding the path into gauges.js (realTimeUrlCumulus : '../realtimegauges.txt',) the updating works even after switching the gauges.
I'm sure you will find a way to remedy this!

I had to unminify the web code a bit to find where it got stuck. ;)

And say that all of that could have been avoided if the default directories were used.
But there are people who like to make things complicated :mrgreen:

@laurent:
Apparently you detect a stop of update of the gauges. I don't have that.

But when I look at your website (http://laurentmey.fr/davis/utils/index.html), I notice it sometimes skips an update. So it may not really stop, but an actual update should be every 30 seconds (that's the realtime timer, the gauges go every 15 seconds) and it actually reads the realtime files, but does not update.

I'll check the code, there must be some irrational delay somewhere or the updates are badly chained, although I use simply the standard system for that. Not my invention here. I'll check again on the influence of the dashboard switch.

Keep an eye on the wind, that is most likely to change every update interval!
