CumulusMX and Cumulus1 UI style Multilingual Websites
Version 2.1.5
Working sites may be viewed at
https://silveracorn.nz/cumulusmx/
and
https://silveracorn/cumulus1/
(Note that UV always shows 0 as there is no UV sensor on the station.)
These website templates are based on the look and feel of the User Interface website in CumulusMX.
It is different from the included Cumulus1 style website in CumulusMX and Cumulus1.
These website templates also include Optional additional modules that are not part of CumulusMX / Cumulus1.
After being very reluctant to face the rigors of support based on past experience, I have relented and decided to make these sites available on the basis that the templates are:-
PROVIDED AS IS AND NOT SUPPORTED.
WHILE COMMENT and ASSISTANCE MAY BE PROVIDED FROM TIME TO TIME VIA THIS FORUM, NO SUPPORT SHOULD BE EXPECTED.
The templates are based, in part, on various components of the CumulusMX distribution so inherit the look and feel of the Cumulus User interface website.
The MX and C1 sites are almost identical, the differences being that
Cumulus1 uses the existing Trends graphs in place of the MX Charts.
Some features are only available in MX ( e.g. feels like).
Some pages will not be available on Cumulus1 unless End of Day updates are independently managed with something like Cumulus Toolbox.
This project started simple but I was encouraged to add Current Conditions and Language support.
While I had achieved these in a basic form they have been significantly enhanced by the great work of beteljuice.
beteljuice has continued to be major contributor to many of the ongoing enhancements - Thanks.
All the following languages have fully functional translations in Current Conditions, Betel Dayfile reader, and SS Gauges.
At this time, eight languages are translated for the main pages as indicated by the translators Forum ID.
If you are using these templates, and speak a language that is not yet translated, please consider helping others by translating the missing entries.
There are instructions and template files in the attached file sets.
Český Czech
Dansk Danish (Translation by mingjen)
Deutsch German (Translation by Frank G)
Español Spanish
Suomalainen Finnish
Français French (Translation by laulau)
Italiano Italian (Translation by meteopasiano)
Nederlands Dutch (Translation by Gregorean)
Norsk bokmål Norwegian (Translation by sutne)
Nynorsk Norwegian (Translation by sutne)
PolskiPolish
Português Portuguese
Version 2.1.2
This was a major upgrade for both MX and C1.
Features were added and the code improved.
Translations were extended.
Most files are now common to both MX and C1 and there are fewer things to configure.
No Commas:- This version automatically accepts comma decimals and delivers them to the pages that are 'ajaxed'.
Version 2.1.3 is a full file set including unchanged Version 2.1.2 files.
There are a few 'fixes' and some minor refinements including minimising files where practical.
Please check the changelogs in the main folders and in the Options folders including the separate options davcon folder.
Version 2.1.5 adds build 3097 historic charts.
Cumulus MX Ver 2.1.5 This file offers some guidance on how to change the jpgraphs in Block1 Row1 of the index page (and for the gauges popup graphs). Updated ver 1.1 on 22/11/2020
Cumulus1 Ver 2.1.3
Moonpercent images These Moon file sets contain a common set of images used by MX and C1 and are unchanged from v 2.1.1
There are now no image sets required for cloudbase which has been re-written to use these new images.
The default image set uses images based on the CumulusMX b3071+ source image. This image no longer requires uploading by MX. There is an optional second set and you may create your own.
Working sites may be viewed at

Looks very nice, thanks.
But where to download? I only see links to operational sites.
Or should I take pages and libraries one by one from your site?

If you read the first post you will see this is an ADVANCE NOTICE.
There is still work to be done before it is made available.

Aha... Yes. I thought maybe an advance notice implies a beta release

Re: CumulusMX and Cumulus1 UI style Websites
I have just upgraded to MX from being on Cumulus 1 for many years, and I was wondering if there were web pages to match the new internal pages, and I happened to come across your site yesterday and thought it was great, and did wonder if the scrips were available. So pleased that you are going to be releasing the code. On my old Cumulus 1 site, I did have extra pages that showed all the day file entries, a top 10, and the Annual Data table, but there were all different styles, and I never really integrated then into the site properly. Speaking of the Annual Data, (you may be aware) but the Seasonal table / info doesn't seem to be displaying when you select it.
Does your site rely on just the web tags / realtime files generated by Cumulus, or do you need a MySQL backend as well.
Ian.

Re: CumulusMX and Cumulus1 UI style Websites
Hi, Thanks for your interest.
There is no SQL involved.
It uses a combination of a few of the standard, and a number of other "template" files in the cumulusmx/web folder.
The uploads are much smaller than those in the Cumulus1 system. However with the extra pages, there are some larger files but these larger files are mainly End of Day files.

Re: CumulusMX and Cumulus1 UI style Multilingual Websites
The file sets have been made available - see the first post.
Still looking for translators, so if you install either the MX or C1 version and add translations for your language, please PM me the new language file(s) so I can update the file sets.
Note,
The same files are used for both MX and C1.
Thanks

My sites with the BCJKiwi websites -
http://www.komokaweather.com/cumulusmx
http://www.komokaweather.com/cumulus1
Note: both Cumulus1 and CumulusMX are connected wifi with WiFiLogger so only one can run at the same time, therefore one or the other would not have current data updated which you can see on the dashboard time.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: CumulusMX and Cumulus1 UI style Multilingual Websites
Wonderful,and very useful.
Just one tiny niggle, both Cumulus 1 and MX pages say "Powered by CumulusMX" , it is trivial to check (as I do on my own web page) whether build first digit is 1 or 3 and adjust the text appropriately, whilst still having same page for both flavours. (2nd best: change text to "Powered by Cumulus" so it works for both).

@sfws
Thanks for the info,
The "CumulusMX" is in footer.php @ line 9
There are many common files and it is not always easy to remember the finer points of the differences between them all when updating.
Just change CumulusMX to Cumulus for C1.
Will update the distribution files set.
