Good evening,
I was wondering if anyone had ever tried to interface the meteostick to CumuluMX. It is possible? And if it is, are there incompatibilities? (For example the reset of rainfall today in case of reboot).
Documentation: https://www.weatherstations.co.uk/wp-co ... manual.pdf
Thanks, Luca.

I don't believe anybody has looked into this?

Re: CumulusMX with meteostick
I think it would be really interesting to be able to get them to communicate. In the meteostick manual there is a part dedicated to Data Formats for use with 3rd Party Software. Do you think it is compatible with the Davis protocol?

Re: CumulusMX with meteostick
I had a quick look at the manual, and no it is not compatible with the Davis protocol. It would need a new station type adding to Cumulus.

Re: CumulusMX with meteostick
Yes, I realized that it is not compatible with the davis protocol and I received confirmation from the meteostick manufacturers.
I guess adding the meteostick to Cumulus isn't easy ... is it?
Thanks for the replies.

Re: CumulusMX with meteostick
It's a bit of work, but it's not something I am prepared to do without having the hardware to test/develop against.

Indeed...
Maybe smartbedded is available to provide a device for these tests for free (?)
