Hi
First post here, be gentle
My Vantage Vue had a transmitter fault that needed replacement, and it did not record any weather data from Jan 4th to when I replaced the transmitter in early March.
So, I'm missing a ton of data.
This year, in spite of losing two months data, I have broken my rain total record (from 13 years recording) by over 7". Was 920mm, and is currently 1110+mm with some more to come!
Does anyone live near Northwich in Cheshire, and could let me know what rain they recorded for Jan/Feb, so I can add an average into my long term data.
Postcode is CW9 8, so if someone is close to here, that would be great.
Happy Xmas all from the Salt capital of England (snow never sticks!!)
Cheers
Richard

I'm in Wilmslow, so not that close. I'd look for a nearby station on Weather Underground, check they have a decent station and that the rest of their readings are in line with yours.
Or look for the closest official met station, you will find its readings on the met office website.

Thanks for the link Ray. I'm about 3 miles from Hartford, and clearly on the wetter side. (May we only differ by 0.13mm, so some data matches).
The only question for this year, is can I get 25mm more, to bring up 1.2m for the year (using that Jan/Feb data)!
