Problem on send data external services

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Problem on send data external services

Post by marco.morgia »

Good evening,

it's since the4 of October that CumulusMx don't send data to

PWS
WeatherCloud
Awekas

only WaetherUnderground works.
On my log I can't see anything about errors

It's all enabled and until this date (4 october) all works fine. I've have the last version of Cumulus MX 3.0.2 b3052.

It's only my problem?

Make sure you have switched on debug logging, leave it running for a couple of upload intervals, then post the zipped up MXdiags folder.

Hmm it isn't logging anything about web uploads. It does seem to have some issues talking to the station from time to time.

I'm not very familiar with the WMR100 code, I'll have to take a look at what it is doing...

To give you some additional info, every night at 1 AM I make a reboot of the raspberry. I've installed the version 3 of Cumulus on July and until the 4 Oct all works fine. Until this date, every time that I've enabled debug logging, on log i had seen the connections to these external services.

Monday I've tried to install the new version of cumulus but the problem persist.

I'm a C# programmer, if you want I make some test to understand what goes wrong.

This weekend I make a clean installation of raspberry.

Another info, i have a raspberry pi zero.

Thanks for help

Just to be clear, when it stopped working on 4th October, had you installed a new version of MX?

Did anything else change, like an apt upgrade of mono?

The new version was installed on 14 of october.

Every 3/4 days I make an update (apt-get update) and upgrade of the system.

Maybe I've undenstod the problem.

One of my sensor was out due to battery outage.
I have changed the battery of sensor and now all the data were sent correctly to external provider.

I continue to monitor the situation and give you a feedback in next days.

The image in attachment describe the problem. From 4 oct the wind sensor have a stop

OK, I couldn't see anything from the diags you provided it just wasn't sending anything, but yes if a core sensor is unavailable then CMX will not function correctly unless you set the option NoSensorCheck=1 to the config file
