Trying to get this working

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Trying to get this working

Post by orion_jb2001 »

An error message after a right click on the exe file:

Current culture: English (Australia)
Serial: AEF8E86DD3CB6C7B359C0B69CAE73C3F
Cumulus MX v.3.0.2 build 3052
Station type not set
Cumulus running at: http://*:8998/
(Replace * with any IP address on this machine, or localhost)
7/10/2019 13:06:45
Type Ctrl-C to terminate

But I cant find where I make these suggest fixes. No set up window shows at all in the first instance, just that error

These are not error messages they are the standard output from the CumulusMX executable. It does not have a standard windows frontend, you connect to the running executable by doing exactly what it says, fire up a browser of choice (IE, Firefox etc.) and enter http://Your computers IP address:8998/ in the URL bar. If you are running the executable on the same machine as the browser you could try http://localhost:8998/.

The browser will then present the user interface.
